The Deer Crest Project (1997-2001)
This is one of three large developments we've done over the years. It was a massive development in the mountains east of Park City, Utah, involving around 150 ski-in ski-out luxury lots.

We designed 66 Welded Wire Walls to construct 66 reinforced walls up to 55 feet high (400,000+/- square feet). This included direct support of highway bridges spanning up to 110 feet. Cut slopes were stabilized using Titan 30/16 hollow bars to construct 250,000+ square feet of soil nail.

This project has an exceptionally high density of earth structures.
Top right - Main access road with reinforced soil fill walls and soil nail stabilized cut slopes uphill of the roads.

Above - Fifty-foot high, 100-foot span bridge (background). Road in the foreground is all supported with Welded Wire Walls.

Side - Main lodge with a variety of Welded Wire Walls.

Bottom - Post construction photo, prior to seeding. Looking uphill, you can see a large number of rust-colored walls providing road and bridge support throughout the project.
